I graduated from Michigan State University in 2022  where I attained a B.A. in Creative Advertising and a minor in Graphic Design. I am passionate about all things design and creative storytelling. I work well in collaborative settings where I can generate innovative ideas among others to create compelling work. My personal work consists of mixed-media collages, typography, imagery, and symbolism.  In my professional work, I value working alongside my clients to generate something that they are proud of while delivering their needs in a timely fashion. I am always listening to music and finding new ways to creatively express myself and my ideas. Visual storyteller. Curious and innovative thinker.

SSA Supporting Marketing Special Project & Enterprise Communications - Jackson National

Nov 2022 - Current

This past summer I had the opportunity to be a part of Jackson's Strategic Support Program's Marketing Special Project. My role on this collaborative team was taking on multiple projects across several different platforms and mediums to create new content and refresh existing content while adhering to Jackson's brand guidelines and working in an Agile environment. I was able to further develop my technical skills across Adobe and Microsoft platforms as well as presenting to our ideas to Senior Stakeholders in a professional, cohesive manner. I am now supporting the Enterprise Communications team assisting with print and digital graphics and various marketing materials.

Freelance Graphic Designer - KR8 Agency

June - July 2022

I designed the internal 2022 brand deck for Kimora Lee Simmons's fashion brand, Baby Phat, and a flyer for Paris Fashion Week 2022. During my time at KR8, I produced visually engaging content bringing clients' visions and brand identity to life. Developed creative briefs while working with upper management to deliver exceptional results meeting deadline requirements. Redesigned client’s brand identity book to adhere to new brand vision, design trends, and industry standards.

Led artistic direction of assigned spreads (Dead Fu*king Tired/Nine 2 Five) while assisting lead art directors with the overall composition and voice of the magazine. Attended photoshoots, worked with creative directors, assisted other art team members with designs, tone, and color schemes, and created additional graphics. I utilized my recognition for visual spacing, unique graphics, and typography hierarchy to develop the content I produced.

Worked with all other members of the team to configure the second publication of the magazine. Designed spreads and overall layout of the magazine, managed the organization of spreads, created InDesign templates, directed photoshoots, and wrote a short article in collaboration with another writer for the magazine.
