I graduated from Michigan State University in 2022 where I attained a B.A. in Creative Advertising and a minor in Graphic Design. I am passionate about all things design and creative storytelling. I work well in collaborative settings where I can generate innovative ideas among others to create compelling work. My personal work consists of mixed-media collages, typography, imagery, and symbolism. In my professional work, I value working alongside my clients to generate something that they are proud of while delivering their needs in a timely fashion. I am always listening to music and finding new ways to creatively express myself and my ideas. Visual storyteller. Curious and innovative thinker.

Jackson National

Creative Designer - Design Solutions Team

NOV 2022 - PRESENT

On this team, I take on the roles of graphic designer, copywriter, art director, and leader. I handle multiple projects across several different platforms and mediums to create new content and refresh existing marketing materials. I lead my team members to familiarize them with Jackson's brand guidelines, Adobe applications, interviewing prep and questions, and storytelling. I design anything from infographics, event posters, and brand booklets to social media templates, interactive forms, vouchers, business cards, and banners.

Freelance Graphic Designer

I utilized my skills in typography, brand aesthetics and layout design to design an internal brand book for the fashion brand, Baby Phat. I conducted research from the previous brand book and social media presence to incorporate the company's asks for this refresh. In addition, I also created a flyer for Paris Fashion week 2023.

Art Directors' Assistant - Art Team

JAN 2022 - APRIL 2022

I worked in collaboration with the lead Art Director's to finalize the overall layout and design of the Spring 2022 issue of MSU's fashion, lifestyle and beauty magazine. I utilized my skills in graphic design, typography and visual composition to design two spreads in addition to editing and reviewing the other team member's spreads. I attended photoshoots and weekly team meetings to collaborate with the club and my other team members.

Creative Oversight

I utilized my expertise in content strategy, graphic and layout design and leadership to be the creative oversight of this small team. I designed the layout of the Spring issue for ALTR, prepped interview questions, developed shoot concepts, co-wrote articles, and provided feedback on spread designs.
